Deep Sea -
Enough already - We get it! You sell brew paddles.
I know you asked if it was taboo and nobody answered - but I believe they were thinking it was a one time thing, not a regular sale site posting.
No offense (I think the paddles look great), but I don't believe this topic of "For Sale / Trade" was intended for businesses trying to increase customer base, but rather for homebrewers to sell or buy excess or unused equipment.
If anyone needs one, I am sure they can find you by now. |

I expect to find a similar comment in the Penrose Pots and conical posts. _________________

| I disagree comparing this to the Penrose kettle or the brewhemoth. Right now people are asking question in the thread wanting to know more about the product. No one has posted anything in this thread except DeepSea. |

| Agree with wnordmann, there is a big difference between questions from interested posters where a few also requested a photo be posted compared to Deep Sea who is constantly posting photos and trying to sell his custom brewpaddles. Deep Sea is not responding to inquiries, he is only haphazardly soliciting every 2 to 3 weeks as if this forum is a Brewer's ongoing Thrift Nickel free advertising location for selling new products without having to pay for advertising space. I agree with Bob, enough already with the brew paddle commercials on this forum. We get it, a couple of times is one thing but this regular periodic posting with no other postings expressing interest around it is something all together different. I count 8 postings in a row with no replies expressing interest or asking questions by anyone else in between his postings. |

Jim (beergoggles),
We are both active members of the Brews and are simply answering questions and posting content that other forum members have ASKED us to post. We are not posting on unanswered posts...there is an interest among our forum members for more information, which we provide as quickly (and effectively) as we can.
You will notice that after my initial post on the GBS forum, Jim, since there has been no questions, I have not posted anything further. I will not, either, unless a question is asked about the product.
There is a pretty large difference between DeepSea's posts and Dale's and my posts... _________________ http://eberhardtbrewing.blogspot.com |

I just think the reactions were pretty harsh. This guy is just showing everyone different options that are available and apparently the business is just supplementing his homebrewing.

I would take offense. Is it really that disturbing to you guys that his updates are contained in his own post? _________________
