External links question

Is it as simple as changing a setting that will force clicking a link within the forum to open in a new tab/browser?

You should just be able to right click on the link and select 'Open in New Tab'. That works in firefox, anyway.
I set out running but I take my time.

Also clicking with the mouse wheel should work in most browsers.

If you hold down the <Ctrl> key when you click on the link it will open a new tab in your browser.

Chrome. I was aware of the other options, just some forums open in new windows, ours doesn't.

I assumed you were asking how we could make it spawn a new window site wide and not how to individually do it in your browser.

I didn't answer because of that.

I know the code for html links like that, but I'd have no idea how to do it site-wide on a forum like this.

It could be done site wide, would just have to modify the the behavior of the url bbcode. This is the second time this was requested so I'll keep it in mind next time I dig into the site code.
