I sat at my desk today and looked at my "You Might Be a Redneck" calender and saw the following.....

You Might Be a Redneck if.....

I'm not a Redneck then, none of my neighbors do any more on brew day than give me strange looks! (it all started the one day last winter when it started snowing half way thru the brew, steaming kettle, swirling snow.....)

The last time I brewed, the neighbor asked through the fence what I was doing. He thought I said "making deer". He quickly popped his head over. He was a lot LESS interested when he found out it was beer. Strange. :?

My neighbors USED to wonder what I was doing.
Give a man a beer, and he wastes an hour. Teach a man to brew, and he wastes a lifetime.

I had a neighbor come by once to talk about a fence while I was brewing. He didn't ask any questions, he might have been afraid of the answer

When I'm brewing, one of the neighbors, who doesn't drink, likes to come over and be my assistant. He measures and grinds grain and even does some of the cleaning. Beats brewing alone and he's powered by Coke, not beer!
